Vancouver Olympics 2010

Emily and I decided we could not let the Winter Olympics
come and go without making a trip to Vancouver. What a memorable
day it was! We got an early start and missed all of the traffic at the
border. Next we rode the Sky Train into City Centre where
all of the action was. First stop: Olympic Cauldron.

My hair is on fire!

 Just kidding.

Check out the sea plane and Olympic rings in the background.

Of course Em won gold! I had to settle for silver.

Emily became a big curling fan after seeing
Carter Rycroft. Oh Canada.

 Emily with creepy pooh bear.

Another gorgeous weekend!

After selling our house and condo much sooner than expected, we are now in a beautiful condo in between Fairhaven and downtown. This is the view from our deck.

Orcas and Lummi Islands.

Walking to Pepper Sister's for dinner.

Walking to Boulevard Park is a favorite pastime.

Learning to throw a frisbee.

Anya meets new friend "Diesel" at the park.

Counting sailboats.

Keeping a careful watch over the kids at the park.

Exhausted after a long day at the park.

Making brownies with Daddy.

Today we ventured out to Elizabeth Park.

Anya woke up in the morning and proclaimed "it's Kaila's birthday!" What were we to do but throw a party?!
