Stoney Ridge Farm - Opening Day!

Nana and Pops came to visit. It was a perfect fall day to
take a drive to the country and check out pumpkins.

Anya is a bit obsessed with scarecrows this season.
"Not scary mommy?" No, nice scarecrows!

Look - more scarecrows!

and more.

3 feet on the nose!

Anya was thrilled to see the animals that appear in her favorite
book of the week. "Three Billy Goats Gruff, Mommy?"

Clearly Anya's personal photographer (da-da) was intent on
getting shots of her looking at animals...not so much the animals.
Love the goat in the background and the 2 above on the platform above.

Ohhh it's a...

baby bunny!

The sheep were baaa-ing up a storm. She loved it! Pops does a
pretty good impression as well.

Is this thing safe?

Train ride.

Hay ride to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard!

Hay!

This is how Nana lovingly got her title as the "cold police."

Anya just recently discovered pockets. They come in handy on
a crisp fall day.

Anya deemed every pumpkin "too dirty da-da."

Picking apples with Pops. Nana made applesauce for
dinner (with Anya's help, of course).

The loot!

Getting a running start at Daddy.
