Anya Meets the Grinch

Anya has a love/hate relationship with the Grinch. After several
walks to Fairhaven to meet him in person, she finally overcame
her fear. At first she only wanted to gaze upon him from afar.

She gradually inched her way closer and closer.

This is her nervous "I can't believe I'm doing this" smile.

Don't be crazy Grinch. Not comfortable enough for high-fives quite yet.

*After we left, Anya begged to go back and tell the Grinch one last thing she
forgot to mention. Unfortunately for the Grinch, he was already out of
costume. Poor guy was a good sport though, and promptly suited back up.
Anya walked right up to him and proclaimed: "I don't think you're very
nice to your dog Max! You should really work on that." With that, she
turned on her heel and left.

Seiko Purdue and Cara Jaye unveil their "Lofty Aspirations" sculpture,
at WWU. It was truly a night to celebrate! Bravo ladies.

How do you celebrate the unveiling of an amazing piece of artwork?
With a trip to Mallard's Ice Cream, of course!

Saying goodbye to Mi Rang (Cara's exchange student), as she graduates
from WWU and now returns to Korea. We will miss you!
